Discovering a portrait of the mind.
A persons notebook is precious to them in one shape or the other. There is a personality to their notebook, the writings within, the process, which is an extension of that person. This is a platform which hosts paired user submitted images; one of a person, the other of their sketchbook.
The goal is to display an intimate connection between a user and their sketch/ideation process. It was found to be interesting seeing these items paired side by side. The portrait of the person on the outside next to the portrait of how they think/ their personality.
Below are a series of excerpts from the process book that was created to document the method/collection of content, tools used, visual explorations, UX flow diagrams and user testing.
Design is based off the “960.grid” with a fixed navigation bar to allow for ease of use and fluid responsiveness via a Bootstrap framework. Typeface: Open Sans.
