The goal was to make the website accessible to anyone. The client informed me that the website was visited by people from all over the globe with all different types of internet connections. An overall challenge was making the site design HTML/CSS capable while keeping within the comfort zone of the company’s developer. My mandate was to redesign the website they currently have into one that communicated a confident professionalism, a clean aesthetic and elegant simplicity. In the process a new logotype emerged and was implemented in the final design. Additionally the client wanted the future option to translate to both static and CMS frameworks.
Design is based off the “960.grid” with a fixed navigation bar to allow for ease of use. COSA launched the new design in the fall of 2015.
